Day 1 Travel approximately three and one half hours from Phoenix to Tuba City, Arizona. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the Quality Inn Navajo Nation. Enjoy southwestern comfort and a convenient base to “Experience Navajo” and explore the richness of this land and its people. After a dinner of traditional Navajo cuisine, Southwestern or American food at the Hogan Restaurant, schedule to enjoy some of the local Indians perform native dances. The dancers are a favorite cultural experience of our guests. Day 2 Begin your day with a light breakfast or a hearty meal at the Hogan Restaurant. Visit the Continue on approximately one hour to the Hopi Reservation, visit and tour the Hopi Cultural Center & Museum. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the Hopi Cultural Center Restaurant. Visit and tour a Hopi Village, where Hopis have lived for more than 1,100 years. Travel an additional 1 and ¼ hours to tour and shop at Just another 30 minute drive and you may overnight at the Quality Inn Navajo Nation Capital, located in the Navajo Nation’s capital, Window Rock, Arizona. The Quality Inn Navajo Nation Capital is one of Window Rock’s most hospitable places to stay featuring a friendly staff and comfortable southwestern rooms. You have the option to visit and view exhibits at the Navajo Nation Museum, or do some shopping at the Navajo Nation Arts & Crafts Enterprise, both right next door to the Quality Inn Navajo Nation Capital. Enjoy dinner at the Diné Restaurant, featuring a widely varied menu from local traditional fare, including Navajo tacos or mutton stew, to a burger and fries or a nice steak. You will tour the Canyon’s narrow, 1,000-foot high red stone walls, and enjoy lunch within the canyon walls or you might take a sunset tour of the Canyon.
