about the ancient Pueblo people
on your visit to the Navajo National
Monument, which is located between Tuba City and Kayenta, Arizona
on Hwy 160. At the Navajo National Monument capture a glimpse
of Arizona’s two largest ruins; the Betatakin Ruins and
Kiet Seel Ruins are nestled between the canyon walls. Stay overnight
in Kayenta, Arizona, where there are many shopping opportunities.
Visit the Navajo Visitor Center/Arts & Crafts shop or the
Navajo Arts & Crafts Enterprise shop.

Valley, with a
Navajo guide. Plan to enjoy a barbeque
lunch, including a Navajo song
and dance group, within the beautiful monuments and buttes of
Monument Valley. Stay overnight in Chinle, Arizona traveling
via Hwy 59 and viewing some spectacular sand stone sights!
Day 3
Tour Canyon
de Chelly in a Navajo-guided all terrain vehicle.
Tour the canyon’s narrow, 1,000 foot high red stonewalls,
and enjoy lunch within the canyon walls. Tour and shop at the
Hubbell Trading Post, America’s oldest continuously operated
trading post located in Ganado, Arizona. In Window Rock, visit
and view exhibits at the Navajo Nation Museum or visit and shop
at the Navajo Nation Arts & Crafts Enterprise. Stay overnight
at the Navajo Nation Inn, located in Window Rock, Arizona. The
Navajo Nation Inn is one of Window Rock’s most hospitable
places to stay featuring a friendly staff, wonderful food, and
comfortable rooms.
Day 4
Take a walking tour of the historic
Navajo Nation Council Chambers & Veterans
Memorial Park, which are located
just a few minutes from the Navajo Nation Inn. The Council
Chambers is where the Navajo Government convenes to discuss
critical issues to determine the future of the Navajo People.
At the Veterans
Memorial Park you will see the symbolic memorial
created to honor the well-known Navajo Code Talkers.
On the Hopi Reservation, visit and tour the Hopi Cultural Center & Museum.

Along with a Hopi guide, visit and tour Walpi Village, where
Hopis have lived for more than 1,100 years.

Tuba City, Arizona. Enjoy southwestern comfort and a convenient
base for exploring the richness of this land and its people.
After dinner at the Hogan Restaurant, schedule to watch some
of the local Indians perform native dances. The dancers are a
favorite cultural experience of our guests.
Day 5
Have a wonderful breakfast at the Hogan Restaurant, which is
located at the Quality Inn Navajo Nation. After breakfast visit
the historic
Tuba City Trading Post. The Tuba City Trading Post
has been part of the Indian Country landscape since 1870. It
contains authentic Indian arts and crafts, such as Indian jewelry,
pottery, rugs, sand paintings, Kachina dolls, and clothing each
reflecting the superb craftsmanship and cultural traditions of
the artist. After your wonderful journey through Navajoland travel
